When she was a young girl, brain scientist Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor became fascinated with the functions of the human brain. Jill, one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2008, has a brother with schizophrenia, and his brain disorder led Jill to dedicate her career to studying severe mental illnesses as a Harvard-trained neuroanatomist. While she worked to uncover the differences between the brains of people born with mental illnesses and those who were not, something remarkable happened to Jill’s own brain—it went silent. A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of his catch. “How long did it take you to get those?” he asked.
“Not so long,” said the Mexican.
“Then why didn’t you stay out longer and catch more?” asked the American.

Have you watch the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” starred by former U.S vice-president, Al Gore? If not, I strongly recommend this MUST WATCH movie for your own Personal, Spiritual & Business awareness. This movie deals with CO2 emission and global warming and I am convinced that this issue is no longer a theory but we are facing a critical issue now!

Latest news: A coordinated terrorist attack in heart of Bangkok with 7 series of bombs targeted outside police posts and shopping malls today (New Year Eve). Let us pray for the injuried (20), the deads and their loved ones. Unnecessary waste of lives regardless what political agenda these attack hope to achieve. My sincere concern out to the Thai people especially after 97 crisis and the ousted of the ex-prime minister and now this.
It is high time to know that there is a one race: The Human Race.
Lots of love and support,

07 Dec 2006 mark a special ocassion to our friends, graduates and Executive Direction’s colleagues in Singapore/Malaysia: Kok Leong and Sylvia, as they make the commitment to take care of each other for the rest of their lives. Let wish them a happy and blessed marriage for many years to come.
Oh, they practise what they learn in class too, any phone going off during the wedding solemnization will be fined S$100 on the spot and they start the dinner on time. Interestingly, the Justice of Peace is a humourous gentleman too!

Something to share sent to me by my colleague at Just Media (Thank you Ivy!) - LIFE
This was a speech made by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Anna Quindlen at the graduation ceremony of an American university where she was awarded an Honorary PhD.
“I’m a novelist. My work is human nature. Real life is all I know. Don’t ever confuse the two, your life and your work. You will walk out of here this afternoon with only one thing that no one else has. There will be hundreds of people out there with your same degree: there will be thousands of people doing what you want to do for a living. But you will be the only person alive who has sole custody of your life. Your particular life. Your entire life. Not just your life at a desk, or your life on a bus, or in a car, or at the computer. Not just the life of your mind, but the life of your heart. Not just your bank accounts but also your soul.
People don’t talk about the soul very much anymore. It’s so much easier to write a resumé than to craft a spirit. But a resumé is cold comfort on a winter’s night, or when you’re sad, or broke, or lonely, or when you’ve received your test results and they’re not so good.
