I am truly Blessed!

The past 1 month have been an interesting and busy period. I throw myself into the world of Event Sponsorship for our in-house project, Singapore Movie Fiesta 2008 (See the post below). A marketing area that I have never experience on such a large scale. I have met at least 30-50 companies general managers, head of marketing, country managers, brand managers, business/media owners and doing countless proposal. It really opened my mind and break my own structure. I love to move out of my comfort zone constantly. So far, I have secured five figure sum cash sponsorship apart from six-figure sponsorship in-kind, a far cry from my mid 6 figure cash sponsorship target. I have to admit that it is was tough facing rejection after rejection, sometime even 3-4 in a day after a long period of prospecting. Read the rest of this entry »
